Versions and dates

The printed date on a rules document is not the day it took effect.

Effective dates

v1.4 is printed 16 July 2026 but took effect 24 July 2026. The printed date is kept as published_at; searches use the effective date.

Half-open windows

A version is in force from its effective date up to, but not including, the next version's. On the day v1.4 takes effect, v1.3 is already out.
