Introduction

A rules assistant for Riftbound that answers as of a date, with versioned citations.

What it does

Riot updates the Riftbound Core Rules several times a year. Rules are reworded, renumbered and sometimes reversed. A normal search tool mixes every version together, so a question about today can be answered with a rule that stopped applying months ago.

rb_errata stores every version with the dates it was in force, searches only the version that applied on your date, and cites rules as core@1.4:419.4.a: document, version, rule number.

The pieces

  • Search: finds the rules that answer a question, as of a date. Works today.
  • MCP server: lets Claude Desktop and other AI apps use the search as a tool. See Claude Desktop.
  • Local web app: ask questions in your browser, on your own machine. See Local web app.

Why it runs locally

Riot's rule text stays on your computer. This site shows only the project's own content and measurements. No API key, no account, no server.
